The laboratories listed here have been recognized by NFRC to conduct air leakage and operating force testing per the following ASTM standards: E283 (Air Leakage) and E2068 (Operating Force for sliding products). The RAL recognition process was conducted per NFRC 701.11 and a copy of this document can be found on the Program Documents page.
The following reports are acceptable for NFRC 700 air leakage certification: ANSI/NFRC 400, NAFS, TAS-202, and applicable ASTM standards. The test conditions per ANSI/NFRC 400 Section 4 shall be met.
This list is not the same as NFRC-accredited air leakage laboratories per NFRC 701 and accredited to conduct ANSI/NFRC 400 air leakage. This list of those labs can be found here at this link http://nfrccommunity.org/page/TL and are identified with an "X" under NFRC 400 to conduct accredited air leakage testing.
